The Role

As an ITAM Technical Consultant, you will focus on the deployment and optimisation of Flexera FNMS across complex environments. You'll provide hands-on support for cloud rollouts, container coverage, and data validation—ensuring complete and accurate discovery data for compliance and cost optimisation.

 

Your work will be central to the Coverage and Rollout streams, building the technical foundation that enables strategic ITAM outcomes.

 

Consultant Capabilities

• Act as a trusted technical lead in agent creation, packaging, and rollout.
• Translate deployment requirements into actionable, automated solutions.
• Collaborate closely with operational consultants and client teams to ensure smooth rollouts.
• Communicate technical progress and blockers clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support capability building by documenting rollout processes for client self-sufficiency.

 

Technical Responsibilities

• Manage Flexera agent creation and rollout across AWS, Azure, and container environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment blockers to accelerate coverage.
• Validate and assure cloud and container inventory data for quality and completeness.
• Support proactive deployment management through monitoring, reporting, and remediation.
• Apply up-to-date knowledge of Flexera discovery and beacon architecture.

 

About You

• 10+ years' experience in SAM/ITAM technical delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Flexera FNMS deployment and agent architecture.
• Proven track record in cloud (AWS/Azure) and container rollout.
• Analytical, detail-driven, and adept at troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Confident communicator and collaborative team player.
